The government and people of Pakistan need to be more proactive for the socio-economic development of women to achieve national prosperity, said Deputy Director Special Education Syed Ali Baux on Monday. Addressing a function held in connection with International Women’s Day, he said that women constituted big chunk of the population, so the government was needed to take more steps for their welfare to give impetus to the pace of national development.
