Shahid Afridi was visibly impressive with the ball in the 22nd match of the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL), helping the Karachi Kings thrash Multan Sultans by 63 runs.

The Karachi King’s bowler claimed youngster Saif Badar’s wicket during the match and showed the 19-year-old the way back to pavilion.

Despite the disappointing send-off, Badar took to Twitter to send a special message to Lala.

And, as expected, the message was well received by the former Pakistan T20I captain who responded instead with an apology to the young batsman.

"I'm sorry [for] what happened, that was [due to the] momentum of the game..I always support my youngster[s]. Good luck."
