For overseas students: AIOU introduces new programmes

Aim to provide students living overseas with opportunities to enhance their academic standards

ISLAMABAD:
The Allama Iqbal Open University has introduced new programmes for its overseas students living in Middle East. The new programmes aim to provide students living in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE, Oman and Bahrain, with opportunities to enhance their academic standards. This is for the first time that overseas Pakistanis are being offered Bachelors in Education and Masters in Business Administration (Commonwealth of Learning), a statement released on Sunday said. Other programmes offered include: Allisan-ul-Arabi (Basic Arabic Course), Arabic Bol Chall, secondary school certificate, higher secondary school certificate, bachelor programmes and other short-term courses. The last date for admission in these programmes is March 5. Admission forms and prospectus for these programmes could be downloaded from the university’s website.
