Fawad appeared before a team of NAB Lahore in Ashiyana-e-Iqbal Housing Society Scheme case on Friday

LAHORE: Principal Secretary to Prime Minister Fawad Hassan Fawad appeared before an investigation team of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore in Ashiyana-e-Iqbal Housing Society Scheme case on Friday.

An investigator told The Express Tribune that the allegations that he being the secretary to the project director of Punjab Land Development Company (PLDC) at that time had played a role in the cancellation of bid a company to favour another company.

Later, he was handed over a questioner to be submitted before the NAB within the three days. The NAB had launched investigations into Ashiyana-e-Iqbal Housing Society Scheme case in November 2017.

In 2014, a large number of people had conducted a press conference and also staged a protest outside Lahore Press Club (LPC) against Paragon Housing Society - a housing society owned by a federal minister of the ruling party of scam worth billions of rupees.
