Furniture Sector: PFC aims to attract investment

A delegation of Pakistani furniture producers would participate in the Commonwealth Business Forum 2018 in order to attract foreign investment and joint ventures with foreign companies. The event would be organised by the Commonwealth Enterprises and Investment Council (CWEIC) from April 16 to 18 on the sidelines of Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM), said a press release issued by the Pakistan Furniture Council (PFC). It is expected that this event will be attended by up to 30 heads of government of member states and 800 businessmen from all member nations. PFC Chief Executive Mian Kashif Ashfaq said Pakistan attaches great importance to its relations with the Commonwealth being one of the founding members.
