Irfan Qaiser Sheikh, the chairman of Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA), said that they will help the graduates of their driving course in leasing cars from banks on easy conditions.

Speaking to Punjab DIG Traffic Farooq Mazhar and SSP Traffic Police Athar Saeed at TEVTA Secretariat on Monday, Sheikh expressed that leasing cars from banks would make our youth independent, which is the current need of the hour.


Thanks to companies such as Uber and Careem, young adults nowadays can earn between Rs25,000 to Rs35,000 per month, he elaborated.

After the success of the first phase of the driving course in Lahore, Sheikh plans to extend the course to Faislabad, Rawalpindi, Multan and Chiniot as well as other areas of Punjab. By the end of the year 15,000 to 20,000 youngsters will be trained, he said.
