Identity card of OBL plot owner uncovered

Express 24/7 has gotten hold of a copy of the identity card of the person who purchased the property on which Osama bin Laden's compound was built in Abottabad.

The ID card belongs to Arshad Khan, and the address cited is Hangu.

The same name was also written on four electricity bills of the compound, issued by PEPCO officials.

It is believed the name is an alias of the courier who evntually led the CIA to the hideout of Bin Laden.

Meanwhile, control of the compound has been taken over by the army once again and checkposts have been established on several routes to the area.

Sources say the compound was visited by top army officials, before confiscation of all the material. There are also reports of blood stained carpets being burnt.

Naeem | 13 years ago | Reply The correct address is Khat Korona, District Charssada not Hangu as stated in the above news story. But BBC and other news channels have reported the person could not be traced to the village listed on the national identity card above. So the identity card is fake and most likely used to conceal the real identity of the person who most of the newspapers to be a Kuwaiti i.e., Shiek Abu Ahmad Al-Kuwaiti Osama trusted courier who inadvertently lead US intelligence agency to Osama's compound.
