Pak-Saudi naval exercise Nasem al Bahr commences in Saudi Arabia
These include joint conduct of maritime security operations across the traditional and non-traditional warfare domains
Joint naval exercises between the Pakistan Navy and the Royal Saudi Naval Forces commenced in Saudi Arabia on Saturday.
The exercises include Naseem al Bahr, first joint Mine Counter measures exercise and Marine Forces Exercise Deraa al Sahil.
The 11th exercise of Naseem al Bahr series will continue till February 17-18. It is the first time that these exercises are being conducted in Saudi Arabian waters.
In a first, a mine countermeasure exercise has also been scheduled concurrently with this exercise. The exercises aim to consolidate the existing strong bilateral relations between the two naval forces.

Earlier, Pakistan Navy flotilla comprising PN Ships Zulfiqar, Tariq, Azmat, Quwwat and Munsif arrived at Saudi Arabian Port al Jubail.
Pakistan Navy helicopters embarked onboard ships and P3C Orion Long Range Maritime Patrol aircrafts and will also take part in these exercises.
