Troubled waters: 47 Indian fishermen sent on judicial remand

The court sent the fishermen to jail on a 14-day judicial remand

As many as 47 Indian fishermen were sent on judicial remand by a District West judicial magistrate on special duty. On Sunday, officers of the Docks police station presented 47 Indian fishermen in court, saying that the trespassers were arrested by personnel of the Maritime Security Agency. The arrested fishermen were nabbed for illegally entering and sailing into Pakistani waters. After seizing nine boats from their possession, security officials shifted the arrested fishermen for investigation to the Docks police station. The court sent the fishermen to jail on a 14-day judicial remand.
