College Staff: Principals directed to ensure attendance
All teaching and non-teaching staff must obey new attendance policy

Punjab Higher Education Department (HED) has directed principals of all public colleges in the province to ensure strict implementation of 25 casual leaves annually for teaching and non-teaching staff. According to a letter issued by HED deputy secretary to all DPI (colleges), directors of Education (Colleges), deputy directors (Colleges) and principals of all colleges of the province, they have been told to ensure that staff, both teaching and non-teaching, should obey the policy. According to the letter, “Under the direction of competent authority, all principals are hereby directed to ensure that only 25 casual leaves are allowed annually to government servants. Therefore, only two casual leaves per month may be allowed to all teaching and non-teaching staff of colleges.”
