A video has been circulating the internet wherein a girl roughly aged 10-years-old is seen dancing on one of India's item songs, Laila Mein Laila. The clip is part of Aapka Sahir that he hosts on a local channel and the little girl's dance moves are something of a concern.
Model Saheefa Jabbar Khattak, who has never been one to shy away from sharing her opinions, lent her two cents on this matter as well. She took to Instagram and demanded PEMRA's statement since the institute should be keeping such content on a check, in the country.

Some Twitteratis were also disappointed with Sahir and demanded a ban on his show.
Extremely inappropriate. It’s not good. Kids shouldn’t be taught or encouraged to do this kind of stuff. Eventually they will grow up and this exact thing would lead to body objectifying. Host should act responsibly. Sad to see the video. #SahirLodhi #NotOurCulture #Wrong https://t.co/yK9hWFv9TQ

The video of the 10-year-old girl, dancing very provocatively raises extra concern since eight-year-old Zainab was recently brutally raped and murdered as well. With such incidents taking place in the country, it is important to realise that sexualising children is completely wrong and should be avoided at all costs.
