ISLAMABAD:
Following the footsteps of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, three leaders of PTI have approached the anti-terrorism court to get bail before arrest in the SSP Junejo, PTV and Parliament attack cases and violation of Loudspeaker Act during the 2014 sit-ins in the capital.
The suspects — Asad Umer, Shireen Mazari, And Arif Alvi — have surrendered before the court after a passage of three years.
ATC judge Shahrukh Arjumand granted bail to the PTI leaders against a surety of Rs100,000 each in the cases.
Recently, the court had granted bail to Khan in these cases when he appeared before the court after being declared a proclaimed offender for his failure to appear before the court for over three years.
