“Some elements are trying to halt the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects and investment,” the minister said while talking to a private news channel.

Keeping in view the situation on borders and the Indian army chief’s language against Pakistan, he suggested the political parties to avoid involving the Pakistan Armed Forces in politics.
The armed forces were doing their job on borders efficiently, and dragging the valiant forces into politics could divert their attention, he added.
He said that elections were very near and let the people decide and choose their representatives for the next government.

The Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) government had worked for the progress of the country, he said.
To a question about Pakistan Awami Tehreek’s plan and activities of the sit-in scheduled for January 17 (tomorrow), Baloch said some elements were using such tactics to pressure the government.
To another question regarding the new Balochistan chief minister, he hoped that Abdul Quddus Bizenjo would deliver for people of the province.
