Radd-ul-Fasaad: Three suspects apprehended in Balochistan raids

Large cache of arms and ammunition recovered in operation in Dhadar and Mastung, says ISPR

Frontier Corps (FC) apprehended on Monday three suspects during raids in Balochistan and recovered arms and ammunition from their possession.



"FC Balochistan conducted IBOs in Dhadar and Mastung," the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

"Cache of arms and ammunition including IEDs, hand grenade, detonators and communication equipment [were] recovered [during the raids]," military's media wing added.

On Saturday, FC recovered cache of arms, ammunition and explosives including sniper rifles, grenade and IEDs hidden in caves in Mustang. for a major terrorist activity.

Last week, the security force arrested 15 suspects, including eight terrorists involved in attacks on police during raids in Zhob, Sibbi, Dera Murad Jamali Mach and Killi Ismail.

Seventy kilogrammes of explosives, weapons and ammunition and communication equipment were also recovered during the operation.

Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad, a military offensive against the “latent threat of terrorism”, was launched in February 2017.
