In this regard, a ceremony was held in Bahawalpur on Thursday where the divisional emergency officer distributed cheques among rescue officials.
While addressing the officials, the divisional emergency officer said Punjab government had planned to give more facilities and incentives to the staff of Rescue 1122.
“The provincial government has been working on plan to increase facilities and incentives of Rescue1122 personnel to encourage them to tackle with any emergency like situation and rescue people,” he said.
He added that the rescue personnel had been provided professional training at par with standard parametres.
