19th amendment to be tabled soon: Farooq Sattar

MQM Leader Doctor Farooq Sattar has revealed the nineteenth amendment will soon be tabled in the parliament to address topics not covered by the last amendment.

Addressing a book launch at the Governor House Karachi, Dr Sattar said the eighteenth amendment only gave administrative and political autonomy to the provinces.

He said real autonomy would only come when provinces were free to make their own finanical decisions, and this would be addressed in the nineteenth amendment.

Dr Sattar also touched upon the disparity between people of the rural and urban areas and said the PPP and MQM were trying to bridge this gap.
