Endless feuds: DRC resolved 1.779 disputes in 2017

SWABI: In a region where feuds run for generations and most issues resolved through the gun, the Dispute Resolution Council (DRC) Swabi  has solved 1,779 disputes including property, business, murder and attempt to murder and other related issues in the year 2017.

DRC Swabi Secretary  Mian Muhammad Ghulam Bacha while presenting his report to DPO Sohail Khalid about the previous year 2017  performance said that a record 1,779 disputes were successfully resolved including 699 by Swabi circle, 386 by Razar circle, 351 by Topi circle and 343 by Chota Lahor circle respectively. The DPO Sohail Khalid appreciated the performance of DRC Swabi and said that crime ratio had significantly decreased due to efforts and decision of the council. He also announced talent award and shields for DRC members.
