ISLAMABAD:
Officials from the United States Department of Justice and the US embassy’s Office of Narcotics Affairs completed a week-long training workshop for Pakistani prosecutors on “Case Preparation and Trial Skills”.
The programme examined how prosecutors screen, analyse, and handle cases received from the police – from the initial case preparation to the verdict.
Twenty-seven prosecutors from the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa participated in the workshop, which was designed to help prosecutors increase their conviction rate.
