A complete shutter-down strike was observed in parts of Baloch dominated townships on Friday to protest the killing of HRCP activist Mohammad Siddiq Edo and Yusuf Nazar whose bodies had been found a day earlier.
The strike was observed in Panjgur, Gwadar, Pasni, Jiwani and Ormara where most of the shops and markets were closed for the day.
The strike call was made by the Baloch nationalist parties. Meanwhile, the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) Balochistan chapter condemned the brutal murder of Edo and termed it the failure of the government.
