LAHORE: The Lahore High Court Bar Association gave the ultimatum of seven days to the Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif and provincial law minister Rana Sana Ullah to resign for their role in model town massacre.

The bar leaders addressing a press conference also announced to take legal action against Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz over allegedly doing anti-judiciary speeches. Bar Secretary Amir Saeed Rawn strongly condemned Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz for allegedly provoking public against the judiciary.

He said that the Sharif should tender apology before the public. “Bar is planning to serve legal notice on Sharif family if they don’t apology the public over their speeches,” the secretary said.  He also came hard on Lahore High Court Registrar Syed Khursheed Anwar Rizvi for his role to destabilise the relation between bar and bench.
