The training, which was attended by 24 hakeems, aimed to build the capacity of participants in terms of patient care, treatment methods, provision of medicines, rights of patients, infection control, administrative matters, human resource and usage of information technology. The objective was to improve herbal treatment by implementing MSDS, which had been developed recently for matabs.
In his opening remarks, Clinical Governance and Organisational Standards Director Dr Mushtaq Ahmed Salariya highlighted the importance of such trainings for hakeems.
