Blast in Landi Kotal market injures two civilians

Last month,  two soldiers of paramilitary Frontier Corps (FC) were martyred and four sustained serious wounds when their vehicle on Wednesday hit a landmine in District Sibi of restive Balochistan.

In June, a police official was injured when a road side bomb went off near Deputy Superintendent Police Zahoor Khan’s vehicle in DI Khan. DSP Zahoor Khan remained unhurt in the explosion.

“I was on my way to Daraban tehsil when my vehicle was hit by an IED that was planted on the roadside near Gara Mastan,” the DSP told The Express Tribune.
