A man was killed and his brother injured in a shootout between two rival groups in Khanewal.

KHANEWAL: A man was killed and his brother injured in a shootout between two rival groups in Khanewal on Thursday.

Sadar police said Muhammad Anwar and his brother, Dilshad,  were on way to their village when 14 men of  their rival group allegedly opened fire on them near Nawan Shehr Chowk. Anwar died on the spot. Dilshad was taken Khanewal DHQ Hospital.
