A truck, carrying 74 brand new motorcycles, caught fire in Gadap Town destroying all two-wheelers worth millions of rupees.
The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of Gadap City police station. The fire broke out in a carrier truck transporting 71 GD110S bikes and 3 GR150 motorcycles. The carrier truck was traveling from Karachi to Multan when it caught fire.
The driver and company staff, with the help of the fire brigade, managed to extinguish the blaze. During the firefighting efforts, the driver sustained minor injuries. No loss of life was reported.
The police suspected a short circuit in the wiring of the truck. The concerned company has registered a report of the fire incident at Gadap City police station.
