Boxer Amir Khan gets evicted from show on 31st birthday
Pregnant wife Faryal Makhdoom was no where to be seen
Amir Khan has just been evicted from I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here, making him the seventh contestant to leave the show, reported Daily Mail.
Exiting on his 31st birthday, the boxer admitted that he let Iain Lee take the blame for the strawberry debacle in which the duo demolished the tasty treats. He said, "I was scared so I let Iain take the blame. He had a bad reputation so my camp mates would never suspect it. I did feel guilty but I fixed it by pretending the strawberries and cream were awful."
Amir further confessed, "Someone had to take the blame and it wasn't going to be me. Iain suffered a little bit more than me because he was new. They didn't think I would do it, I did take some blame though. Poor Iain."
Amir said his goodbyes when he was named as the next celebrity to be evicted. "You lot amaze me, I had the best time and I'll see you outside," he told his camp mates.
Leaving Jamie Lomas, Jennie McAlbine, Georgia Toffolo and Iain behind, Amir headed over to speak to Ant and Dec. "I've had such a great time. I never expected it to be so good as I've never seen it but I conquered my fears and had the best time. I feared sleeping outside. I didn't want to be around trees but now, I can be around trees."

Ant joked that he didn't actually conquer all his fears before showing him a footage of his high-pitched screams. Amir laughingly denied saying, "Those weren't my screams. Did you edit them?"
Speaking about his experience in the jungle, the former world champion added, "It wasn't what I expected, it was a lot harder. When I came face to face with animals, I thought 'this wasn't in my contract'. I didn't read it my dad and lawyer did."

Leaving the show on his birthday, Amir stated, "It was wonderful to spend my 31st birthday with an amazing team. I'll remember that for life and tell my kids that I spent it in the jungle. Who else can say that?"
Also referring to his surprising lack of knowledge, Amir joked that he learnt a lot on the show such as "there's a woman prime minister and there's cheese in cheesecake." He also learnt not to use his phone while having dinner.

When asked if he will be making a comeback on the show, Amir answered, "I've had my jungle experience and I won't do it again!" He added that he would like to see Jamie win the show because he puts himself forward for any challenge that comes his way.
As the boxer walked down the bridge, he was greeted by his father. However, wife Faryal Makhdoom was no where to be seen. She did appear on a TV show saying that she can't wait to have her husband back home.
The couple had briefly split over the summer but rekindled their relationship after Faryal announced that she was pregnant with their second child.
