An air-conditioning plant worth Rs40 million has been installed at Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

An air-conditioning plant worth Rs40 million has been installed at Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, said Medical Superintendent Dr Nadeem Ahmed Rajput.
The air-conditioner will cater the needs of the ICU, CCU, nursery, burns ward, children’s emergency, and operation theatres.
Last year over 8.4 million patients reported to the OPD and 38,000 were admitted. Over 45,000 major surgeries were also held.
