They also revealed 2017's most famous celebrities, most used hashtags, and most liked photos on Instagram
Instagram has rolled out another update with a new feature that lets users play around with their friend’s picture sent through direct message.
Simply click on the small camera icon at the bottom left which saves the picture. You then get to resize it, move it around and add your own stickers to it.
It's not limited to just stickers though, you can draw, write on it and add filters as well with the image not instantly disappearing but rather being replayed on a loop.
Instagram has been under the constant scrutiny where many feel the photo-sharing giant has copied a lot of features from rival Snapchat.
Instagram's new 3-second videos may just be the new 'Boomerang'
Users definitely find this update useful but many others took to Twitter to voice their complaints about other Instagram features.
