School is equipped with modern, scientific computer labs
REHRI GOTH:
A purpose-built school was inaugurated in Rehri Goth on Saturday, which would accommodate over 400 students of the area who will get education up to 10th grade.
The Green Crescent Trust (GCT) hosted the event and the Sindh Board of Investment (SBI) Chairperson Naheed Memon was the chief guest at the ceremony.
A large number of prospective students will be given a complete fee waiver, while rest of the students, after due evaluation of socio-economic status of their parents, would pay a nominal tuition fee.

Most of the teachers of the school are properly trained under the special initiative of GCT for teachers’ training. The centre for educational research and development, the training division of the trust, has so far conducted thousands of teacher trainings in the province, out of which 1,300 are associated with 165 schools run by the trust.
The school is now equipped with modern, scientific computer laboratories, library, and staff rooms for teachers. It will also be duly registered with the Sindh Government’s education department and affiliated with Board of Secondary Education Karachi.
Most of the construction and upgrading work took place at a very swift pace during the last summer vacations to avoid interruption of academic activities.
Memon acknowledged that Sindh government still had much to do to safeguard the future of children of such backward areas. She, on behalf of Sindh government, announced full support for future endeavours of GCT in the field of education.
