Prices of essentials re-evaluated in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD: The district administration has re-fixed prices of essential items after consultation with traders, shopkeepers, consumers and members of the District Price Control Committee. In this connection, a meeting was held with Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Muhammad Shahid in the chair on Friday, attended by ACs and officers of departments concerned and traders. According to the new price list, the retail price of local white gram (big) will be Rs138 per kilogramme, local white gram (small) Rs132 per kilogramme, local black gram (big) Rs88 per kilogramme, local black gram (small) Rs83 per kilogramme. The prices of pulses: Daal gram (small) will be sold in the open market at Rs88 per kilogramme, Daal Gram (big) Rs90 per kg, Daal Moong (washed) Rs62 per kg, Daal Moong (unwashed) Rs70 per kg, Daal Mash (washed) imported Rs102 per kilogramme, Daal Mash (unwashed) imported Rs 85 per kg, Daal Masoor (big) imported Rs64 per kg, Daal Masoor local Rs120 per kilogramme.
