ORAKZAI:
Security forces killed five militants on Saturday in an operation in the Orakzai agency.
Security forces shelled militant hideouts in the Khadizai area. Former Nazim Pir Ameer Faseer along with three of his colleagues have been arrested in a joint operation of security forces.
The suspects were arrested on their alleged ties with terrorists.
20 suspects arrested in DI Khan
Meanwhile, security forces on Saturday arrested 20 suspects in a joint search operation in DI Khan.
Police sources said the arrested suspects will be released after investigations are complete. Three policemen and two citizens died in firing by unidentified men in the area.
Security arrangements in the city have been beefed up with mobile police patrolling across the city.
