PTDC plans gym, pool at Flashman’s Hotel

PTDC managing director says the organisation has a chain of motels located at prime tourist locations and a hotel

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) plans to develop a health centre, gym and swimming pool in Flashman’s Hotel to promote tourism and enhance its services.

PTDC Managing Director Abdul Ghafoor Khan in a meeting with Executive Director College of Tourism and Hotel Management Asif Javed and Administrative heads on Thursday said the organisation has a chain of motels located at prime tourist locations and a hotel in the city. He directed that rooms of motels and the hotel be renovated and upgraded besides improving the food and beverages departments NGOs and pharmaceutical companies be approached to hold their meetings, conferences and seminars in PTDC hotels. PTDC he said needs to adopt a dynamic strategy to promote tourism in the country.
