After the huge success of the Vintage section last year, BSS will also have pre-owned designer-wear and artifacts available for sale. Gucci, Valentino, Bally, Louis Vuitton, Jimmy Choo, Coach, YSL and Cartier will also have some of their elegant pieces on sale, making it a perfect stop-shop for every fashion enthusiast.
An exquisite carpet from Abbas Carpets as well as a diamond and ruby necklace by Pomegranate Gems will be available for bidding. High-end art from artists like Laila Rahman, Farhan Manto and Faraze Syed will also be auctioned off to raise funds for a number of charities which include those that support breast cancer awareness, old age homes, education and healthcare.
The BSS raffle is also in full swing and winners will receive meal vouchers for Lahore’s finest restaurants, salon treatments and baked goodies from the notable bakeries. Last year, the BSS raised Rs10,000,000 -all of which was distributed amongst six charities. This year, they plan to raise more as the fundraisers are supporting eight charities namely, Pink Ribbon Pakistan, Rising Stars Foundation, Bali Memorial Trust, Lahore Hospital Welfare Society, The Giving Tree Foundation, Pink Rickshaw and Medicare Health Foundation.
Nuria Rafique-Iqbal, co-founder of BSS, revealed, “There is a lot of pressure on us to raise even greater amounts of funds and we really hope we succeed. We have chosen the charities that stand for different causes. Each charity has been reviewed by us and has been given our BSS Seal of Approval.”
BSS will be held on November 5, 2017, from 12PM to 5PM at the Silver Marquee, Royal Palm Golf & Country Club, Lahore.
