MANSEHRA: Hundreds of teachers reinstated by the Supreme Court orders staged a protest rally against the K-P government on Thursday in front of the press club.

The Mansehra educators were protesting against their non-induction into the service by the provincial education department. However, many reinstated teachers of Haripur have joined their duties.

These teachers were sacked in 1988 by the then government. After an arduous legal battle they were reinstated by the Supreme Court in Khyber-Phaktunkhawa after 19 years, but the education department Manshera has not allowed the male and female teachers to join service.

The protesting teachers were chanting slogans against K-P government and education department for violating the court verdict.
