ISLAMABAD: On the 25th day, the employees of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) called off their strike and protest after federal cabinet’s nod to a proposed piece of legislation which would separate the hospital from the medical university.

The All Employees Pims Restoration Movement (AEPRM) called off the 25-day-long protest and partial strike after assurance by the CADD Minister Dr Tariq Chaudhry that the amendment bill of SZABMU for separation of Pims will be presented in the forthcoming session of National Assembly in first week of November 2017.
