Wife of ousted prime minister Begum Kulsoom Nawaz was readmitted to the hospital on Tuesday as her health deteriorated further, her daughter has said.
"Ami is hospitalised again. Earnest request for prayers," Maryam Nawaz Sharif tweeted while responding to a query regarding her mother's health.
Kulsoom Nawaz undergoes chemo treatment
Kulsoom, who won the recently held by-election in NA-120 Lahore, has been battling lymphoma- a form of cancer. She began her first round of chemotherapy earlier this month in London and has undergone three surgeries since August.
