All necessary avenues will be explored to achieve peace in Afghanistan, Afghan envoy Dr Omar Zakhilwal told Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam-Sami (JUI-S) chief Maulana Samiul Haq in Akora Khattak, Nowshera on Sunday.
"Every door will be knocked at so that peace can be restored in the country," he said in a two-hour long meeting with Sami at Darul Uloom Haqqania.
Later, Zakhilwal tweeted that a very candid discussion was held on important issues during the meeting.

Sami told the Afghan envoy that Western powers did not want peace and stability in the region and wanted to wage a war against the Islamic world.
He also underscored the need to restore peace in Afghanistan and termed it imperative for peace in Pakistan.
15 Afghan army trainees killed in Kabul suicide attack
The meeting comes days after a suicide bomber killed 15 Afghan army trainees as they were leaving their base in Kabul, the defence ministry said, in the latest deadly attack in the capital.
On Monday, Zakhilwal also met Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and US Ambassador to Pakistan David Hale.
