Six killed in separate road mishaps

CHICHAWATNI: Four people were killed while three others were injuries in different road accidents at National Highway on Saturday. Rescue sources said a speedy mini truck over turned near Adda Iqbal Nagar, resultantly Tanveer and Farooq was killed on the spot, while Abid suffered injuries.

In another accident, a speeding truck hit a bike near Harrapa, as a result, Muhammad Ishaque and his daughter Rukhsana were killed on the spot, while Rukhsana's husband Sarwar and her five-year-old daughter sustained injuries. The injured were shifted to the THQ Hospital Chichawatni.

Meanwhile, in Khanewal, two people were killed in an accident near Iqbal Nagar on Saturday. According to hospital sources, three poultry dealers were going to supply birds when their vehicle overturned.
