Law minister distributes cheques to lawyers in Balochistan

Federal Law & Parliamentary Affairs Minister Dr Babar Awan gave cheques to Balochistan Lawyers totalling Rs 72 million on Saturday.
Speaking at a ceremony hosted by Peoples Lawyers Forum and other lawyers associations, Awan announced to transfer Rs 72 million to bank accounts of various bar associations of Balochistan.
Rs 5 million each from Rs 72 million would be given to Balochistan Bar Council, Balochistan High Court Bar Association, Balochistan Bar Association, Balochistan Young Lawyers Bar Association & Balochistan Women Bar Association.
Every district bar association of total 32 of the province would get Rs 1 million respectively.
He said after the federal budget for next fiscal year 2010-11 will be presented in the national assembly on June 5, more funds would be allocated to digitalize all district bar association of Balochistan.
