The Rab Rakha crooner is an accomplished actor in Pakistani drama serials; his last production being the critically acclaimed Udaari, but this movie will mark his debut in the Pakistani film industry.

His song Thodi Der from Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor's movie Half Girlfriend became a big hit, his Coke Studio performance with QB received rave reviews and he lent his voice for Humayun Saeed, Mehwish Hayat and wifey Urwa Hocane-starrer, Punjab Nahi Jaungi.
The female lead for the movie is yet to be decided. The shooting for the movie is most likely to kick-start this year, and the movie is expected to go on the floors next year.
