Yet another woman was stabbed and wounded in Karachi as authorities fail to nab the 'knifeman', bringing the total number of victims of the mysterious crime to 13.

The victim, 28, was attacked by a motorcycle rider in Pehelwan Goth area of Gulistan-e-Jauhar, police say. The woman attempted to catch the attacker who attacked her for the second time and fled.

Earlier in the day, residents of the area staged a protest at Jauhar Chowrangi against the continued attacks on women, and failure of the police to nab the culprits.

The incidents of stabbing women, which have been occurring since September 26, have continued despite availability of close-circuit television (CCTV) footage.

In these videos, a young man wearing a helmet is seen approaching a victim and then stabbing her before fleeing from the scene.
