Sakhi sarwar: Bombing mastermind remanded

Taliban commander Behram Khan alias ‘Sufi Baba’, was handed over to the police on a ten day physical remand.

DERA GHAZI KHAN: The bombing mastermind involved in the blast at the Sakhi Sarwar shrine, Taliban commander Behram Khan alias ‘Sufi Baba’, was handed over to the police on a ten day physical remand by a Anti-Terrorism Court in Dera Ghazi Khan on Monday. Security agencies had arrested Khan from Bajaur Agency. The man was presented in court in DG Khan amid tight security. Anti-Terrorism Court judge Rai Muhammad Ayub ordered that the men be handed over to the police on a ten day physical remand. According to officials, the accused had revealed that he came to DG Khan in December and had planned to bomb the shrine for over two months. Khan revealed that he was helped by Ayaz Punjabi, Ahmed Baloch and Zar Ali and that the suicide jackets he used were provided by locals.
