Village elders get funds released for Shamozai schools

ISLAMABAD: The people of villages in Shamozai area actively pursued senior officials of the education department to ensure that the government schools in their area get the funds allocated by the provincial government. The K-P education department had to approve construction of new classrooms, playgrounds and washrooms public sector schools of Shamozai area of Mardan. The approval follows hectic efforts by a committee of elders from different villages. According to Zarbahadar Khan, a committee member, the village elders held several meetings with the high ups of the education department and informed them about the needs of government schools and the problems being faced by the students.
