'LCWU facilitates deserving students' 

VC also announced that sports complex and dining hall for students will be constructed

LAHORE: The Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) has given millions as scholarships to deserving students, said LCWU Vice Chancellor Dr Uzma Qureshi.

“We will accommodate all students who are on merit and cannot afford the university fee,” she said.

Addressing the students of intermediate first year in the auditorium, Dr Qureshi said it is LCWU’s vision to empower women through education. The VC announced that a sports complex with latest facilities and dining hall for students will be constructed for which the funds had been allocated. She asked the students to keep the campus neat and clean and do not throw disposable plates and cups in the lawns.
