Punjab Food Authority (PFA) to ban sale of imported food items such as chocolates, milk, candies with less than 60 percent of shelf life, The Express Tribune has learnt.
PFA seals nine restaurants
PFA, according to a letter written to the FBR Chairman Tariq Mehmood Pasha, requested restriction on import of all products such as chocolates and candies that were near expiry. The authority was preparing a draft of regulations in this regards that it will present in its boards meeting on 27 September along with 5 other regulations.
