NAB inks MoU with K-P govt department

MoU also envisaged to nurture potential talents in youth

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and Directorate General of Sports and Youth Affairs, K-P on Saturday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate in creating awareness against the corruption and corrupt practices.

The MoU was signed by NAB Director Awareness and Prevention Mirza Sultan Muhammad Saleem and Director General,Sports and Youth Affairs K-P Junaid Khan on behalf of their respective organisations.

NAB Chairman Qamar Zaman Chaudhry and NAB Director General Brig (retd) Farooq Naser Awan witnessed the signing ceremony according to NAB statement issued here which added that nothing in this MoU shall be repugnant to NAB Ordinance (NAO), 1999.

NAB K-P received 3,775 complaints, recovered Rs12.4b

Under the MOU, both the departments would work in collaboration with each other for the awareness against the corruption and corrupt practices.

The MoU also envisaged to inculcate skills and nurture the potential talents in youth and academia and create awareness in the public administration.
