MUZAFFARABAD:
President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Sardar Masood Khan on Friday said that linking AJK with the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is a big achievement of the present government of AJK.
Two hydroelectric power projects, an industrial zone and a modern expressway being built in the state as part of CPEC project will bring economic revolution in the region, said Masood while talking to journalists on his first visit to Central Press Club.
CPEC projects in AJK to be made environment-friendly
To a question on the Kashmir dispute, he said strong resolve of the Kashmiri people to win freedom from the Indian occupation was visible and India will have to leave the Kashmir valley.
He said silence of the international community on gross human rights violations by Indian army in the held valley was unfortunate.
He denounced the construction of the illegal separate settlements for the Kashmiri Pandits and former military personnel in IoK aimed to change the demographic realities of the held valley.
