Retired sleuth goes ‘missing’ from capital

ISLAMABAD:
Police on Thursday registered a kidnapping case after a former sleuth mysteriously disappeared from the capital on September 11.
The missing retired army colonel* had reportedly travelled to Islamabad from his hometown of Peshawar to attend a court hearing on Monday.
According to his brother, he attended the court hearing in Sector G-11 and then left to meet one of his friends. The family was in touch with him until around 2pm when his mobile phone number was reportedly switched off.
According to a complaint, the family lodged with the police, the former officer’s mobile phone had been last traced to a location in Sector F-10.
