PCJCCI Secretary General Salahuddin Hanif said the idea to bring investment in machinery manufacturing was floated during the Beijing Conference last year in which it was decided to relocate Chinese manufacturing facilities to Pakistan.
He said the PCJCCI had invited more than 150 Chinese companies to participate in the trade fair in order to showcase their products and find Pakistani partners for forming joint ventures in key economic sectors.
He said these companies would find local partners, agents and interns from Pakistan to join their team. PCJCCI invited maximum number of local companies to attend the trade fair, he reiterated, to “avail themselves of this golden opportunity” to meet the top brass of Chinese machinery manufacturing companies. E-commerce Gateway President Khurshid Nizam told the media that the PCJCCI and E-commerce were trying their best to attract maximum Chinese investors in potential markets of Pakistan.
