TRENDS/ FASHION WEEK/ STYLE/ FASHION: With Fashion Week right around the corner, the festive winter season is all set to commence. Get camera-ready as fashion editors, bloggers, stylists and shutterbugs take over the fashion scene. So as you plan your most stylish outfits for the week and head to the FROW, we bring you a guide to prepare for the most happening event in fashion. Take notes!

Choose the perfect outfit

Perhaps the most important part of Fashion Week is planning the perfect outfits. Plan your outfits in advance so on the day you don’t hear yourself saying, “I have nothing to wear”! Have your outfits sorted for each day and keep in mind that you will be photographed on the red carpet. Don’t let your outfit be your excuse for being fashionably late!

New Season, New Look

A trip to the salon, hair and make-up appointments and essential grooming is a priority for your fashion week look. Not only will it make you look good, but you’ll feel extra glamourous on the red carpet when the paparazzi snap those pictures. Treat yourself with a new make-over and get ready for the new season.

Get that glow – for Fashion Week and beyond

Lots of greens, lean protein and healthy fats are the key to a clean diet, vital for skin repair and of course that coveted glow! Take a break from dairy, eliminate processed sugar and stay hydrated with at least eight glasses of water a day. Hydrated skin is happy skin.

Carry your essentials

Lipstick, check! Portable charger, check! Gum, check! Don’t forget to grab your essentials before leaving the house for a smooth sailing fashion week!

Social Media, Social Media, Social Media!

Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat will be your best friends this month! Make sure you’re ahead of the game by updating all your apps and clearing all your storage because Fashion Week is all about pictures, constant status updates and more pictures. It’s also where you’ll get all the highlights and behind the scenes footage so get following on

Relax and unwind

Light a candle, put on a face mask relax and unwind. Fashion week can get tiring so make sure you unwind and rejuvenate to ensure you feel your fabulous self for the next day’s shows. A good eye mask can always help with getting a good night’s sleep.

Lastly, don’t forget your passes

Your ticket to Fashion Week! While you’re busy getting ready, choosing the perfect outfit, getting your hair and nails done, don’t forget to grab your passes!
