FAISALABAD: A PML-N member of provincial assembly humiliated and abused a woman deputy education officer, Tandialanwala for not attending his telephone calls and also hurled threats of dire consequences.

Shahnaz Perveen moved a formal complaint to the deputy commissioner, Faisalabad for taking appropriate action against the MPA on charge of harassment and using foul language.

The deputy education officer also alleged that when she complained about the high handedness of the MPA to the District Education Authority, Chief Executive Officer Dr Javed Iqbal Chashti asked her to tender an apology to the MPA.
